Investor swoops for Passivhaus office in £1.2m deal

Commercial property investor Millfield Estates has bought an eco-friendly office building at 3 Rayns Way, Watermead Business Park, Leicester, in a £1.2m deal.

The 6,027 sq ft office brings Millfield Estates portfolio to 14 properties.

The property is a detached Passivhaus office building with an EPC rating of ‘A’. It features an open plan design, raised access floors and abundant natural light.

It also includes full air conditioning through ground and air source heat pumps; a mechanical ventilation heat recovery system and renewable energy sources. Roof-mounted solar panels and solar shading blinds further contribute to the exceptional EPC rating, highlighting Millfield Estates’ commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
