Founder of £100m recruitment firm steps down

The founder of professional services recruitment specialist Sellick Partnership has announced his departure after more than 20 years.

Jo Sellick built up the firm, which today employs 115 staff in offices across the UK, including Derby.

The firm has a turnover over of more than £100m.

In 2019, SAMSIC Group, which is based in Rennes, France, became the majority shareholder of Sellick Partnership.

In a statement, the firm said: “Jo leaves with our sincere gratitude for all that he has contributed over the years.

“He is leaving Sellick Partnership in the hands of Hannah Cottam and Ray Wareing who have been working alongside Jo since the early days.”

“Hannah takes over the role of chief operating officer and will continue the work initiated by Jo 22 years ago.”
