Fashion retailer in major Nottingham relocation

Fashion giant H&M is set to leave its Lister Gate home in Nottingham to move into the city’s Victoria Centre.

The Swedish high-street and online firm will take 23,000 sq ft of space on the lower mall of the shopping centre, opening in Spring.

Nigel Wheatley, centre director at Victoria Centre, said: “We’re committed to providing our shoppers with the very best fashion and homeware brands, giving them access to both high-quality and affordable products – and H&M delivers just that.

“This is a significant new signing for us, kicking off what is shaping up to be an exciting year for our teams, and the centre.”

The move will leave another big gap on Nottingham’s struggling Lister Gate, with many stores having left or closed down since the Broadmarsh shopping centre redevelopment halted during the pandemic.
