Barns to business: property firm’s office space makeover complete

Derby property firm has finished transforming old barns into three new office spaces at the Ednaston Park Business Centre.

Clowes Developments along with their main construction partner TanRo have converted a group of rundown barns into three offices: The Hayloft (1,294 sq ft), The Granary (1,312 sq ft), and The Byre (1,158 sq ft).

Ednaston Park, situated within 18 acres of landscaped gardens was formerly St Mary’s Nursing Home until 2016 when it was purchased by Clowes Developments in September 2017.

The park has undergone investment to transform it into modern office spaces.

The transformation from 2023 to 2024

The newly renovated Ednaston Barns come with their own separate plot from the main building, a landscaped courtyard, free parking with electric vehicle charging stations, large ground-floor windows, patio doors leading from the open-plan kitchen, spacious private entrances, glass staircases, security alarm systems, and key fob access for each unit.

Gina Connett, facilities manager at Ednaston Park Business Centre said: “I am delighted to launch Ednaston Barns to the market. Interest from businesses looking to make Ednaston Park their professional home remains high, and I anticipate it won’t be long until the Barns are fully occupied. The quality of finish of the Barns is second to none but I particularly love the setting, you’ve got your own space yet only a stone’s throw away from a thriving business hub.”
