Fastest-growing private companies in the Midlands revealed

The Sunday Times 100, sponsored by Barclays Private Bank and supported by Singer Capital Markets and Inflexion, has named the top fastest-growing private companies in the Midlands.

Published online on June 28th the ranking celebrates Britain’s top 100 entrepreneurial businesses.

12 out of the 100 businesses on the list are based in the Midlands.

Birmingham-based Clive Henry Group has taken the top spot as the fastest-growing private company in the Midlands.

Clive Henry Group was overall in second spot out of the 100 companies and is a healthcare recruitment and consultancy firm, which was founded in 2019 by Liam Molesworth and Sam Alsop-Hall and last year reached sales of £20m.

Named after their grandfathers, the company consists of four businesses providing services to the NHS, the public sector and the wider health and care industry.

Other companies that were named in the Midland’s top fastest-growing companies include Constellia Public, sitting at number 13 which is a procurement management specialist from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire with 181.99% growth and £67.0m in sales.

Number 35 was Wordunited, an educational resources provider located in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire with 123.42% growth and £8.6m in sales.

Chāmpo, at number 39 is a haircare brand in Droitwich, Worcestershire with 121.76% growth and £14.1m in sales.

Number 40 was Moasure, a motion-based measuring technology firm from Warwick, Warwickshire with 119.78% growth and £8.8m in sales.

Bigspark, ranked at number 48, is a technology consultancy in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire with 102.72% growth and £7.9m in sales.

FT Pipeline Systems, a water pipelines and accessories provider from Lichfield, Staffordshire with 99.92% growth and £32.2m  in sales ranked at number 49.

BSN Group Construction, a construction contractor in Dudley, West Midlands sits at number 66 with 83.93% growth and £19.7m in sales.

72 is BFY Group, a management consultancy in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire with 77.11% growth and £8.3m in sales.

Number 73 is Upperton Pharma Solutions, a pharmaceuticals developer from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire with 76.77% growth and £11.6m in sales.

Bioworld International, a licensed apparel and accessories supplier from Hinckley, Leicestershire with 64.63% growth and £56.1m in sales ranked at number 94.

Finally at spot 100, AYBL Group, a sportswear and fashion brand in Redditch, Worcestershire with 61.89% growth and £38.8m in sales.
