Hallam, the Nottingham-headquartered digital agency, gone through a restructuring process.

The firm, which is behind the hugely popular Digital Summit event, says the move has meant that it has had to make a number of redundancies – but that new jobs have also been created.

Julio Taylor, CEO, told TheBusinessDesk.com: “There are some structural changes and regrettably some people have left the business. We’ve created new roles because of that restructure and we’re doing everything we can to support the people impacted.”

Hallam was founded by well-known entrepreneur Susan Hallam in 2000. She handed over the running of the firm to Taylor and Jake Third, managing director in May 2020.

The company’s latest Digital Summit was held last month at the Broadway Cinema complex in Nottingham. Over the years, the event has raised over £80,000 for local charities. The Digital Summit had around 600 attendees, with 42 speakers across approximately 40 sessions.

Hallam won Agency of the Year and B2B Agency of the Year at the UK Agency Awards and the Best Large PPC Agency at the Global Search Awards in Krakow in September.
