Wood manufacturer moves into new HQ to support growth

Local construction firm Stirlin has completed an 18,000 sq ft facility tailored to support the growth of Lincframe Roof Trusses.

The £1.8m premises, featuring an office building and warehouse, marks the first project in Stirlin and Castle Group’s 20-acre Enterprise West Lindsey development in Saxilby.

Designed specifically for Lincframe, which manufactures timber roof trusses and metal web floor joists, the facility includes meeting rooms, a reception area showcasing an oak truss installed by Lincframe, a kitchen and director offices, as well as an external terrace overlooking the site.

The warehouse has zones for manufacturing, machinery and storage, including a large concrete yard and outdoor racking for roof trusses.

Managing director, Tony Lawton, at Stirlin, said: “We are thrilled to hand over the new premises to Lincframe Roof Trusses. It has been a pleasure to work closely with them on this project and bring their vision to life. This marks a significant milestone not only for Lincframe but also for us, as the first completed project on our Enterprise West Lindsey site.”

Directors at Lincframe Roof Trusses, Dan Hart, Luke Holmes, Kerry Hinch, and Andrew Holmes, said: “After 35 years in the construction industry, we’ve expanded to the point where a purpose-built facility was essential for our continued growth. This new workshop and office setup allows us to further our ambitions and build a future-proofed business in a location we know and love.

“The choice to build at Enterprise West Lindsey was driven by several factors, including the site’s semi-rural setting, convenient access to the Lincoln bypass, and ideal plot sizes that allow for custom designs and potential future expansion. The new site offers flexibility to accommodate up to 100% growth, as well as ample space for new product manufacturing—a critical aspect of Lincframe’s long-term vision. Stirlin’s expertise in industrial and residential builds made them the perfect partner, and they’ve guided us through every step of the process.”
