Tax advisory firm reports ‘stellar’ year

Claritas Tax, the tax advisory firm which has an office in Nottingham, has posted positive figures for 2024.
The firm says it completed 86 transactions with a total deal value of £1.803bn last year as sales grew by 34%.
During the year, the firm opened new offices in Glasgow (led by partner Stuart Brodie) and Bristol (led by partner Rob Brown). The firm also took up permanent residence in the City of London in its new office close to the Bank of England.
Claritas says it will be announcing its seventh office opening in late Spring to complement its offices in Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham.
Claritas recruited 17 more team members across all its service lines, taking its total headcount to 70 with plans for further team expansion during 2025.
Ses Memhi, head of transactions tax and head of the Nottingham office at Claritas: “With my M&A hat, it has been another stellar year for the team. They have worked tirelessly, with the highest of quality and outstanding client care and without them, none of this would have been possible.
“Outside of M&A, our brand and the people who make our brand and culture very special continue to build on their outstanding reputation. This has led to an overall growth in their respective service lines and also winning a number of industry awards. Naturally, we’re an ambitious bunch, so we continue to build on our success to date and all signs lead to another successful year for Claritas.
“On a personal note, the start of 2025 marked my tenth year at Claritas, so here’s to another 10 rewarding years as we continue to buck the trend and realise our ambitious plans for the team and the business.”
