Double appointment at Dow Schofield Watts

Dow Schofield Watts’ corporate finance team in the Midlands has made a double appointment
Matilda Parker-Allotey has joined the team as an associate director, bringing international experience. She previously held senior roles at the Bank of Ghana, EY and PwC.
Ishan Sharda has been promoted to corporate finance manager, having joined the team in June 2024 as a corporate finance executive. A qualified ACCA chartered certified Accountant, Sharda began his career at Grant Thornton and later worked at Azets.
The appointments come during a strong period for the Midlands team, which has grown from three to 11 people in just 18 months. The team moved into new offices in September 2024 to accommodate its expansion and has advised on nine deals in the last 10 months, including seven since October 2024.
Recent highlights include advising on the sale of The Warmfront Team to Leon Capital, the sale of Golf Holidays Direct to Sports Tours International, and this month’s acquisition of Carron Bathrooms by Brand K Group.
Harry Walker, partner at Dow Schofield Watts, said: “Matilda is a fantastic addition to the team and joins at an exciting time in our growth journey. Her experience and insight will be invaluable as we continue to support ambitious businesses and further strengthens our position in the Midlands market. Ishan’s promotion is a testament to his hard work and the impact he’s made since joining – he’s hit the ground running, playing important roles in a number of our recent client successes.”
