The search for the Midlands’ most sustainable investment begins

The search is on for the region’s most sustainable investment – to highlight those companies which have made a sizable commitment to deliver a step-change in results.
This could include an M&A deal that has enhanced the acquiring organisation’s sustainability delivery capabilities, an investment in the business’s operations, or the development of a new product or service.
TheBusinessDesk.com has launched the inaugural Midlands Sustainability Excellence Awards, to recognise the businesses and organisations in the region that are making permanent and positive changes to their environmental impact.
Created by TheBusinessDesk.com in partnership with Deloitte and the Edgbaston Park Hotel, we’re excited to bring the awards to the Midlands after a hugely successful launch in Yorkshire.
With 13 award categories to consider, the awards will be judged by Richard Hopkins-Burton, partner at Deloitte Midlands, Billy Harris, commercial director of Edgbaston Park Hotel, Anna Bright, CEO of Sustainability West Midlands, Henriette Breukelaar, regional director for the Midlands at the Canal & River Trust and Matt Bunn, sustainability lead at Nottingham College.
The winners will be announced at an exclusive lunch at Edgbaston Park Hotel, on Friday 23 May 2025.
Entries are now open until March 14.
