Construction firm lands four deals worth over £12m
Phoenix Brickwork, a specialist in brickwork, scaffolding and steel frame systems (SFS) based in Pinxton, Derbyshire, has secured £12.5m worth of contracts.
Contract successes will expand the firm’s operations to new locations, with teams soon to be based in Stafford, Sleaford, Doncaster and Leeds.
Among the new projects, Phoenix will supply external brickwork for the University of Staffordshire’s new student village in Stoke-on-Trent, while also taking on a multimillion-pound contract with Willmott Dixon in Sleaford.
In Doncaster, the company will provide brickwork, SFS, internal partitioning and ceilings, and scaffolding for a major refurbishment of Ridgewood School, a net-zero project that will transform 12 old buildings into a modern, three-storey learning space.
Phoenix will also be working on the Sweet Street development in Leeds, a 451-bed Build-to-Rent project where they will supply internal blockwork, external brickwork, and feature masonry for three apartment blocks, set to rise 15 storeys high.
The development will feature a range of shared amenities, including a gym, residents’ lounges, co-working spaces and roof terraces.
