On the move: the latest East Midlands appointments

Jacqui Callan, a specialist criminal defence lawyer, has been appointed solicitor advocate at law firm Richard Nelson. The appointment comes as part of the expansion of the firm to strengthen its legal presence both locally and nationally.
Callan has worked in the criminal justice system for over 25 years and specialises in multi-handed money laundering, customs and excise, fitness to plead and sexual offence cases.
Newark-based food manufacturer Phoenix Group has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Richard Crowdy and Sue Wassell.
Crowdy joins Phoenix as sales and commercial manager, having previously worked for a large contract packaging company in Newcastle where he dealt with clients including SCA, Unilever and Twinnings.
Wassell has more than 13 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry. She previously worked at United Biscuits, Bakkavor, and Nestle UK before later moving into the pharmaceuticals sector.
Steve Worrell
Lincoln-based specialist fleet company, Essential Fleet Services, has appointed Steve Worrell as head of sales for the North.
With over 21 years in the industry, Worrell joins the business from EuroTaxGlass’s, where he held a number of senior sales roles, including sales director.
He will lead sales activity in the North of England, and work closely with local authorities, and the construction and utility sectors.
