New networking group for women launched

A new networking group for women in business is being launched, hoping to attract Nottingham’s top female professionals.

Launched by Nottingham-based Cleggs Solicitors, partner at the firm Jayne Harrison and associate Emma Tegerdine said there was a need for more opportunities for women in the city to meet like-minded business people.

Harrison said: “This is an opportunity to network informally with businesswomen from the city and county. We want to take the hard sell out of networking and encourage Nottingham’s top female professionals to get involved at the outset to develop and grow this new networking group.

“We will be inviting attendees at the first meeting to come up with a name for the new group to give them a sense of ownership.”

Taking place on 11th May 11 between 5pm and 6pm, the attendee who puts forward the winning name will win a prize.

The networking session will take place at Cleggs Solicitors offices in Wilford.
