Breedon Electrical top of the class with £25,000 contract win

Nottingham-based Breedon Electrical has won a £25,000 contract to upgrade the LED and emergency lighting at the Djanogly Strelley Academy.
Breedon Electrical is providing a large scale upgrade of the Djanogly Strelley Academy’s lighting systems, focusing mainly on the areas of learning and ‘main use’, to bring the Academy up to date with current emergency lighting regulations.
Breedon says the project, which is due to be completed in June, will reduce running costs, whilst improving the quality of light.
Andrew Springhall, director at Breedon Electrical Services, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this project, which will provide many benefits for Djanogly Strelley Academy.”
Derek Lisley, head of estates & services at Djanogly Learning Trust said: “We invited Breedon Electrical to tender for this project and have been extremely impressed by their overall communication and promptness to complete any works. Their engineers arrive on site with full DBS clearance, are extremely presentable and very mindful of the environment that they work in.”
The work is part of a series of improvements at the primary Academy on Helston Drive during the last three years.
