Westerleigh Group expands with two new crematoria

Leeds-based, Esh Build has been awarded two contracts in Nottingham and Leicester to construct two new crematoria for the Westerleigh Group.

Westerleigh Group is the leading developer and operator of crematoria and cemeteries in the UK caring for almost 30,000 funerals a year.

Andy Gawthorpe, regional managing director of Esh Construction said: “The Westerleigh Group is a leading operator in its sector and these contracts are a testament to the rigour of our approach. Both projects are complex builds, with the requirement to be considerate of local residents.”

The projects include the construction of two new crematoria, with associated roads, car parks, extensive landscaping, memorial gardens and floral tribute parades leading to the chapels of rest.
