On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Focus Consultants has appointed Andy White as senior project manager to head up its healthcare team.

White joins Nottingham-based Focus from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where he was capital projects manager and before that estates services manager (forensic).

Skilled in project management, he has more than 30 years of experience in the construction and maintenance industries, including 23 in healthcare and also including management and leadership roles.

Focus partner Keith Butler said: “We are very pleased to welcome Andy to Focus Consultants, at a time when our work in the healthcare sector is expanding

“He brings vast experience of the sector and will strengthen the company’s team as we continue to grow.”

A chartered building surveyor since 1991, White is based in the Nottingham office of Focus, at Phoenix Business Park, and will work in conjunction with the teams across the Leicester, London and Lincolnshire offices of the company.

PwC in the Midlands has promoted 207 people in its regional team.

The professional services firm has strengthened its senior team with the promotion of five new partners and 12 new directors. The firm is also welcoming four partners and two directors into the Midlands region from elsewhere in PwC.

The newly promoted partner in the East Midlands is David Roberts (tax), whilst Nick Stevenson will join PwC in the East Midlands as an assurance partner.

PwC has also made 12 promotions to director level in the East and West Midlands regions. They include: Ian Birch, Sally Graham, Alex Hudson, Amy Johnson, Richard Kay, Duncan Montgomery, Karen Senior, Rose Taylor, Nazim Uddin, Simon White, Matthew Woolgar and Grit Young. Two further directors, David Baxendale and Tom Tyler, join PwC in the Midlands from elsewhere in the firm.
