NG breathes life into former doctors’ surgery

A former doctors’ surgery in the Nottingham suburb of West Bridgford it set to be turned into luxury flats.

The former Ludlow Hill surgery on Melton Road in Nottingham was left empty in 2014 after it merged to form a new ‘super surgery’.

Now, the building will be revitalised and redeveloped into flats after a deal to let the premises to a private investor was brokered by Nottingham commercial property agents NG Chartered Surveyors.

NG Chartered Surveyors acted on behalf of a private landlord to bring about the disposal of the former surgery at Ludlow Hill.

Sunny Landa of NG brokered to the deal. He said: “NG really showed our edge in this deal, as it wasn’t straightforward and needed accurate knowledge of the market to see it over the line.

“The letting came about through strategic and careful marketing which was necessary due to the specialist use of the property.

“We identified the developer, who are a local company, are in the market for more deals and recognise the fast pace of the West Bridgford local economy.

“It’s particularly satisfying to complete a deal of this nature when the use of a building changes hands, and we’re sure the premises has a great future as part of a residential development.”

Vince Fakey, who owns the building, added: “152 Melton Road has a bright future thanks to this deal, which was completed with the minimum of fuss by Sunny and the excellent team at NG Chartered Surveyors.

“NG always manages to find innovative solutions and we’re very much looking forward to seeing how the building will be transformed.”
