On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

A Nottingham PR and digital marketing agency has made two new appointments and a promotion to take its workforce to 18.

Stephanie Marshall joins Cartwright Communications as account executive while Emily Owens has taken on the role of junior account executive, following a successful internship with the city-based agency. Amy Macdonald, who has been with the agency for more than two years, has been promoted to account manager.

Liz Cartwright, managing director at Cartwright Communications, said: “Following a successful 12 months at Cartwright Communications, I am delighted to both expand and promote our team even further.

“Stephanie has previously gained valuable experience working within an agency and she will be able to use her knowledge and skills to successfully drive excellent results for each one of her clients.

“Amy’s promotion is a testament to her dedicated hard work and achievements during her time at Cartwright Communications. Emily has also re-joined the team following a successful internship with us this summer where she demonstrated enthusiasm and hard work in her role. It’s important to us to keep and nurture growing talent within the business.”

Nick Holroyd, a lawyer with 28 years of experience in financial crime and professional disciplinary cases, has joined Nottingham law firm Richard Nelson as a consultant solicitor.

He has worked on a number of high-value fraud cases, including the Kieren Fallon race-fixing trial.
