On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Steve Wade has joined Qdos Vantage as operations director.
Wade has extensive experience in the insurance industry, beginning his career as a legal expenses underwriter for BRIT, he has worked for Qdos previously, as underwriting and compliance manager, and latterly he has worked for tax fee protection Insurance provider Taxwise and Zurich Insurance.
Wade said: “I am really looking forward to getting back on board with Qdos. The Qdos Group has gone from strength to strength and Qdos Vantage in particular has seen considerable growth in the last 12-months. I am delighted to be part of the business going forward, ensuring we continue to innovate and provide real value and quality for our customers.”
Managing director Brendan Dawson added: “This is a tremendous coup for Qdos Vantage, Steve will bring a wealth of knowledge across a number of disciplines and the team are excited at the prospect of working with Steve, helping to shape and define the current processes whilst identifying new opportunities for growth and continued success.”
The latest new hire at Pellacraft has swapped selling giant cookies for a new role selling business gifts and promotional merchandise.
Laura Richards
Laura Richards from Mansfield has previously been a team leader in customer services for BPI and manager of a Millies Cookies shop. In her new role as an account co-ordinator she will be responsible for liaising with customers and the graphics team to project manage artwork requirements.
She said: “Pellacraft feels like the perfect place – everyone is so friendly and it’s such a close knit team. I’m really looking forward to being able to work closer to home with such a great team.”
