Luxury housebuilder to unveil new premium brand at £7m Lancashire development

An example of a Create Homes development

Blackpool housebuilder Create Homes has acquired its latest development site in Longridge, in the Ribble Valley.

The proposals for this £7m development secured planning permission for the delivery of 34 new homes to market.

Sales at ‘The Sandpipers’ will start in the Spring.

The private portfolio of homes are the first to be delivered under a new premium brand – the Create Homes Prestige Collection.

The company said its house types have been designed for the more discerning buyer who expects the quality, space and perfect location that these new releases will provide.

Managing director, Andrew Booth, said: “Following the success of our developments in Inskip, Pilling & Longton, we are delighted to have acquired this site in Longridge, which enjoys an unparalleled location. It is an exciting addition to our expanding portfolio of residential developments.”

Reflective of local need, Create will also be delivering a number of bungalows for sale to the over 55s, as well as the provision of some shared ownership starter homes, to help people get on the property ladder.

Longridge sits on the outskirts of the forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, seven miles from the city of Preston. The new development on Preston Road, has access to excellent commuter links to the M6, M65 and M61 and commands stunning views of the adjoining RSPB Wetlands and the stunning Ribble Valley.
