Housebuilder secures permission for Cornwall development

A housebuilder has secured planning permission on its reserved matters application for a development in Helston, Cornwall.

The land adjacent to Clodgey Lane and Gays Hill has been given outline planning permission for 404 homes, and construction can now begin on the first phase after receiving detailed planning approval from Cornwall Council.

In the first phase, Persimmon will deliver 94 homes while the housebuilder will also transfer 19 properties to a housing association provider to support the local community’s housing need.

Plans for the second phase of the remaining 310 homes were submitted in April and are currently being examined by Cornwall Council.
