Redditch firm expands after relocation

A REDDITCH business has expanded into new premises and is taking on extra staff after experiencing increased demand for its services.

Kingfisher Office Solutions, which helps firms reduce their in-house printing and photocopying costs, has relocated to The Oaks Business Centre from its former base in Evesham Road.

Owner Andrew Frascina paid £100,000 for the modern 1,291 sq ft two-storey building; commercial property agents John Truslove advised the vendor. The premises include a new showroom where the firm is exhibiting its products.

The firm, which employs five people and two sub-contracted engineers, is now recruiting a further two members of staff.

Mr Frascina, who has been in the sector for 16 years, having previously sold out to a large corporate, sources the office solutions directly from one of the largest manufacturers with a direct dealership from Ricoh.

The business has been in operation for 18 months and mainly sells to other SMEs.

Mr Truslove said: “Life for the SME is difficult in these troubled economic times, so Kingfisher’s success is highly commendable.

“Andrew is an experienced operator in this sector and his drive and hard work are clearly paying off. I wish him every success.”
