Warwickshire gives a XXXX for latest sponsorship deal

WARWICKSHIRE County Cricket Club has agreed a new online trading partnership with foreign exchange trader, Forex Capital Markets.

The FXCM group was founded in 1999 and was the first foreign exchange broker to list on the New York Stock Exchange. The agreement gives FXCM an exclusive category position within the club’s growing partner structure and a set of unique rights that will drive association and relationships with the club.

The partnership, the first of its kind in first class cricket, will give Warwickshire members the benefit of working with a market leading foreign exchange broker. It will also provide an opportunity to contribute directly back to the club, via a unique arrangement with Club Rebate.

Club Rebate has agreed a payment structure, which enables supporters to earn contribution payments for the club through trading.

Brandon Mulvihill, managing director of FXCM, said: “FXCM are very excited about the new partnership with Warwickshire CCC and working with its members who currently trade on the foreign exchange. I’m really looking forward to developing the relationship over the coming years and seeing the benefits to both the club and its members.”

Gareth Roberts, commercial director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “The three-way partnership of the club, FXCM and Club Rebate is great way of giving our members who currently trade on the foreign exchange a unique way to continue to trade but at the same time, contribute back to the club they support.”

John Evans, from Club Rebate, said the process was a simple but effective way for supporters to make a contribution to their club, by continuing to trade as they normally do.
