Seddon locks down £2.1m Wellingborough contract

Builder and developer, Seddon, has begun construction of a £2.1m development in Wellingborough for storage company Lok’nStore.
The 17,000 sq ft steel-framed building will offer secure steel storage units for use by business and household customers.
Construction is already underway at the site on Whitworth Way and is due for completion in December 2017.
Eamonn Burns, regional director at Seddon, said: “We take pride in developing high quality commercial spaces for businesses in the Midlands and we’re working once again with Lok’nStore to deliver this project in budget and on time to ensure that they can meet the growing demand for storage solutions.”
Rhys Warren-Thomas, Lok’nStore director of construction, added: “Good preparation pre-start and tightly controlled site organisation ensures we get the timely, well-presented buildings essential for our continued growth.”
Seddon previously completed a £1.6m self-storage facility for Lok’nStore in Bristol in December 2015.
Lok’nStore operates 26 self-storage facilities nationwide, with a pipeline of new stores on the way.
