24 affordable homes planned for Nottingham project

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is serving as the development agent for the Tuntum Housing Association for the construction of 24 homes.
The upcoming residences are situated on a brownfield site, previously owned by Ford, located on the outskirts of Stapleford Town Centre.
This development will consist of 15 two-bedroom flats and nine three- and four-bedroom houses, addressing the housing demand in the area.
This latest project is part of a larger commitment by the social housing provider to deliver 68 new-build and renovated homes by 2028.
Fran Cropper, NCHA’s new business and development manager said: “These new homes are the latest phase of our development programme for Tuntum. We are working with our trusted partner MyPad to build the new homes and our project management and development services will deliver the contract. I look forward to seeing the new homes complete and providing affordable accommodation for local people.”
Charmaine Simei, chief executive at Tuntum Housing Association, said: “I’m delighted to see this development well underway and look forward to monitoring our progress as we move closer to handover. This is a great example of partnership working and would like to thank NCHA and MyPad. This is a great location and will go some way to providing much-needed family homes for the people of Broxtowe.”
Scheduled for completion starting in November 2024, the development is being funded by Tuntum and Homes England.
