On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Melanie Hopwell

PKF Cooper Parry has appointed Melanie Hopwell as audit manager.

Hopwell joins the firm after spending a decade at Deloitte, which she joined as an associate after graduating from Loughborough University, before progressing into a managerial position in the Nottingham audit practice.

She said: “I’ve only been here a week or so, but I can honestly say that PKF Cooper Parry is a professional services firm that feels completely different to the traditional and ‘Big Four’ practices.

“As soon as you walk into our Skyview office you can tell this is a great place to work. There is very much a people centred culture, which is a breath of fresh air to most in the industry.”

Aggregate Industries has appointed James Roberts as its new organisational and human resources director, starting November 2016. In his role he will also sit on the company’s Executive Committee.
