Derby training company turns loss into profit
Derby-based Develop Training is back in the black after posting healthy profits for the year ending 30 September.
The firm turned a loss of £44,000 in 2015 into a profit of £716,000 this year.
Develop’s board says the company was largely unaffected by the economic upheaval over the summer. A statement in its annual report read: “Despite the effects over the summer of 2016 of general economic and market uncertainty, underlying sales order intake has remained robust.”
The board says it is “delighted” with the turnaround in underlying sales growth and profitability, and they are “confident” in the company’s future prospects.
