On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young has strengthened its senior team following a number of promotions.]

Ian Dickinson and Richard Tattersall have moved up the ranks, progressing into the roles of tax director and senior audit manager respectively.

Dickinson said: “Becoming a tax director is an exciting next step for me and I am pleased to be part of such a respected accountancy firm. Over the past few years I have really noticed a shift in the accountancy sector, with the needs of clients adapting alongside their audit requirements. Over the past year we have introduced a number of changes, from moving office to a series of promotions, all of which have better equipped us to provide an outstanding service.”

Meanwhile, Richard Tattersall has been promoted to senior audit manager. He will be heading up the firm’s team of managers within both audit and accounts, acting as a link between management and partners.

Lead partner for Nottingham, Simon Browning said: “With both Ian and Richard stepping into new roles we have been able to take forward our already successful audit, accounts and tax teams and build on their successes. I am really pleased to be leading the office forward and identifying ways we can add value to our clients, providing exceptional service for new and existing clients.”

GSSArchitecture has Anna McTaggart as a partner of the practice, based at its Northamptonshire head office.

McTaggart is a chartered architect with over 20 years’ experience, and has worked within a range of sectors, including education, sports and leisure, commercial, and scientific research.

Senior partner of GSSArchitecture, David Allsop said: “We are very pleased that Anna has agreed to become a partner of GSSArchitecture. Anna will be the first female partner since the Practice was founded in 1879.”

McTaggart added: “I am delighted to become a partner at GSSArchitecture. They are a great team of people and I shall enjoy the challenges that my new role brings.”
