Former pub to be converted into homes

Red Lion, Bottesford

A former pub in the village of Bottesford, Nottinghamshire is to be converted to create two new homes.

The Red Lion will be developed after planning permission was granted by Melton Borough District Council.

Developer WTF Projects is also building a new detached house in the pub’s adjacent car park.

WTF Projects was advised on the purchase of the Red Lion site by the commercial property team at Langleys Solicitors who will also act on the sale of the houses when they are completed in 2019.

A spokesman for WTF Projects said: “The former pub will be developed to create two lovely semi-detached homes while the adjacent car park is the perfect space to build a three-bedroom detached home.”

WTF Projects also completed the conversion of the former Peacock Inn in nearby Redmile earlier this year, with 50% of the properties already sold.

The pub has been developed to create four new homes with two detached houses also built in its car park.
