Jobs lost as fashion wholesaler to be wound up

A Leicester clothing manufacturer is set to be liquidated after calling in administrators.

RB Fashion, which operated out of Lancaster Street in the city, was put into administration at the beginning of the month August. Paul Mallatrat and Louise Freestone were appointed joint administrators to the company.

Mallatrat said: “Louise and I were appointed joint administrators on 1 August. However the company has ceased trading and we are therefore simply winding up its affairs.”

When asked how many people would lose their jobs at the failed business, Mallatrat said: “I am awaiting information on the final position regarding employees however it is less than 10.”

RB Fashion bought Rocco Fashion of Lancaster Street, Leicester, out of administration in June last year.
