Property agent boxes clever with Cornerhouse instruction

The Cornerhouse

Nottingham-based Box Property has been appointed as joint leasing agent on the city’s 200,000 sq ft multi-let leisure scheme, The Cornerhouse.

Commercial property investment manager Orchard Street has selected the firm to work alongside instructed agent Savills.

The two companies will work together to maintain a dynamic mix of brands in the building.

The Cornerhouse complex includes a 14-screen IMAX cinema, Genting casino, a nightclub and 12 bar and restaurant units. It currently boasts high-profile tenants including Revolution, Wagamama, Nando’s, Turtle Bay, TGI Fridays and Slug and Lettuce.

Box Property director Ben Tebbutt said: “We are delighted to have been instructed on The Cornerhouse, which we believe remains Nottingham’s number one leisure destination, and which, despite its established roots, has untapped potential to be unlocked.

“We are already in discussion with a number of exciting brands and concepts that would be a great addition to both The Cornerhouse and the city itself, and we look forward to utilising our expertise to further improve the customer experience at the centre.”

Paul Nicholson of Orchard Street added: “We have been impressed with Box Property’s passion and creative ideas, their contacts and breadth of sector knowledge, and we’re looking forward to working with them on our exciting tenant roster moving forward.”
