PR agency announces electric contract win

Greg Simpson of Press for Attention PR

A Nottingham PR agency has won a major account with the City Council-backed gas and electricity supplier Robin Hood Energy.

Press for Attention PR will work with the green energy supplier, which employs almost 300 people in the city, as it steps up its challenge to the “Big Six” energy firms.

The not-for-profit company, established in 2015, is looking to tackle the scourge of fuel poverty by investing any surplus into its most vulnerable customers.

Press For Attention PR founder Greg Simpson said: “’I love what Robin Hood Energy are doing in terms of their approach and their mission and I am very proud to add them to our portfolio as they are set up to make a difference in a market that is ripe for disruption.

“I always try to work with businesses and organisations that are challenging the norm in some way, where I can help to shine a light on those who are making an impact and changing lives for the better. Some of the initiatives that will be made public in the coming weeks are incredibly powerful and will be transformational for the customers of Robin Hood Energy and I am proud to be part of helping to tell these stories.”

David Coghlan, head of marketing at Robin Hood Energy, added: “What we are doing at Robin Hood Energy is disruptive. Everything we do is focused on how to help our customers, not shareholders. We are already making waves in the energy market but most important for us is how we will change many people’s lives for the better. Our mission is a story that needs to be told so we were keen to work with Greg as he has very strong relationships with the press here and across the region.

“We are proud to be a Nottingham business, we’re creating jobs right here in the heart of Nottingham and I want everyone in our city to know what we’re trying to do and to also join our mission. I look forward to working with Press For Attention PR as we take on the Big 6 and show everyone that there is another way that the energy market that works for everyone.”
