East Midlands Business Masters: ‘It was special to be recognised within such a competitive category’

Cosmetics company Beauty Boulevard was crowned winner of the Small Business Award at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards earlier this year and is encouraging other companies to enter the 2020 ceremony.

Beauty Boulevard was founded in Lincoln in 2013 by Paula Short and Rachel de Caux.

The company, which was also shortlisted in the International Trade category, currently has offices in the UK, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Croatia, Finland, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Morocco, Israel, Canada, USA, Channel Islands, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Its flagship product, Glitter Lips, is now available at over 700 stockists across the UK & Ireland including Boots, Fenwick’s, Bentalls, Sally’s Topshop Oxford Street, Thomas Cook and selected UK national airports) and that reach is as far as Australia, Sweden, New York and Denmark.

Entries for the 2020 Business Masters, which will recognise the achievements of firms of all sizes across the region, are now open.

There are 13 award categories, covering the full range of business activity in the region. There is one award, Ambassador, for the individual who has made an outstanding contribution either in leading their business or in representing the region or their sector on a bigger stage.

The Business Masters winners will be revealed at TheBusinessDesk.com’s annual dinner at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham, on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
