Green light for huge DHL warehouse
SEGRO has been given planning permission to build a huge warehouse for DHL at its East Midlands Gateway scheme.
The delivery giant signed a pre-let deal with SEGRO last month for a new 670,000 sq ft facility. It has has taken the space as part of a contract for an international food manufacturer.
The lease is on a 20-year lease and was conditional on SEGRO being given planning permission to build the distribution facility.
SEGRO said it hopes to start the build later this year with completion in Q1 of 2022.
