Major mixed-use scheme gets thumbs up

Over 800 new homes are set to be built in Nottinghamshire after proposals for a 40-hectare mixed-use development near Hucknall was given the go-ahead.

Pegasus Group secured the approval on behalf of the Arc Partnership for Nottinghamshire County Council at Top Wighay Farm, Wighay Road.

The scheme will include 805 homes, employment opportunities, a local centre and a new 1.5 entry primary school as well as associated infrastructure, public open space, and landscaping and a safeguarded route for a potential future extension of the Tram network.
