Prime Chesterfield mixed-use building up for sale
A mixed-use development in the centre of Chesterfield is up for sale through commercial property agency NG Chartered Surveyors.
West Bars House is home to three ground floor commercial units, with three upper floors currently used for office space, but NG says this space ripe for residential conversion. The building is to the east of Chesterfield town centre, and within walking distance of The Pavement Shopping Centre and the Market Place.
Ellis Cullen of NG Chartered Surveyors, who is marketing West Bars House, said: “This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious developer to invest in a prime site in the rapidly-growing town of Chesterfield.
“The upper floors are perfect for residential conversion, or may even appeal to religious groups who are looking for a meeting place.
“There is even scope to extend West Bars House by adding two more floors, which would really maximise its potential.”
James McArthur, director at NG, provides management services on behalf of the landlord.
He said: “West Bars House is the perfect investment opportunity and presents any buyer with a mixture of high quality tenants and the ability to maximise their acquisition by extending and diversifying the building’s use.
“Interest in the premises is high, and we look forward to working with the new landlord to take this prime site forward.”
