Logistics firm to create 600 jobs in Leicestershire

Logistics and contract packing provider, Lemonpath, wants to create 600 temporary jobs at its Loughborough and Syston sites.

Recruitment firm Thorn Baker has won the contract to find the staff for the positions. It the largest number of positions it has been commissioned to fill on behalf of a client since the company was established in 1988.

Lemonpath, which provides services to a wide variety of sectors including fashion, cosmetics, beauty, food, retail, gift, DIY and wholesale across the UK and Europe is recruiting for a range of full and part time order fulfilment and packaging positions.

To help fill the positions, Richard Borland, head of on-site at Thorn Baker is keen to hear from those people who have previously worked for Lemonpath, as well as other jobseekers looking for temporary positions.

He said: “Our teams at Syston and Loughborough are an extension of Lemonpath’s business which will allow us to provide both our client and our candidates with the best service possible. Lemonpath has seen a surge in demand for its services and therefore we are confident of providing employment to people for the remainder of the year, particularly in the run up to Christmas.”
