Engineering consultancy named on first phase of £800m new neighbourhood

How the new homes will look

Engineering consultancy Patrick Parsons has been appointed by the housebuilder, Countryside, to deliver civil and structural engineering consultancy services for the first 332 new homes and associated infrastructure, for the new neighbourhood of Fairham, just outside of Nottingham Nottingham.

The 20-acre site is the first parcel of land of the £800m new neighbourhood plans for Nottingham, being delivered in partnership by Clowes Developments and Homes England, to be developed. Fairham will bring a total of 3,000 new homes, as well as hundreds of jobs.

Patrick Parsons will support the project from the feasibility stage, through planning to construction and handover.

Gail Bamforth, CEO of Patrick Parsons, said: “We are delighted to be involved in this significant scheme, working with Countryside to deliver the premier residential phase of the Fairham development. This landmark new community will set the tone for our future neighbourhoods, delivering sustainable place and space for people to live and flourish.”
