Pharmacy under new ownership

Oakwood Pharmacy in North Leicestershire is under new ownership.

The pharmacy is an independent NHS community pharmacy which dispenses around 4,500 items per month.

The business was previously owned by Taheri Master and was brought to market with the ambition to semi-retire.

It has been purchased by Leicester-based first-time buyers, Rhean and Mamta Joygopaul and Mr Rahul Pandya.

Carl Steer, director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: “The sale attracted good levels of interest and multiple acceptable offers.

“Pharmacies across the whole county of Leicestershire are in demand with our clients achieving strong sale prices as we see a dearth of pharmacies for sale and an increasing volume of buyers.”

Oakwood Pharmacy was sold leasehold for an undisclosed sum.
