Retirement homes firm opens Nottingham HQ with pledge to create jobs

Inside the new Inspired Villages HQ

Inspired Villages, the operator of retirement communities across the UK, has opened its new headquarters in Edwalton, Nottingham, and says it is seeking new talent to fill multiple roles.

Located in Edwalton Business Park, the office space is designed to bring a sense of the villages to the head office and allow central support teams to feel connected to the residents and the wider Inspired Villages community. The large, open-plan collaborative work space also provides plenty of areas for socialising and team building sessions, as well as a gym.

Inspired Villages is partnered with Legal & General and NatWest Group Pension Fund, who recently pledged to invest £500m into the company to grow its number of sites to 34 over the next 15 years. Currently, Inspired supports around 1,000 residents across six operational villages in Cheshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, Warwickshire and Devon.

Roles the company is looking to imminently recruit for as it rapidly expands include a legal counsel and head of financial operations.

Jamie Bunce, CEO at Inspired Villages, said: “We decided to locate our headquarters in Edwalton to take advantage of the up and coming talent across multiple sectors such as construction, finance and design in Nottinghamshire and the wider Midlands. We are very proud of our bespoke head office, which has been designed to encourage collaboration and creativity while nurturing employee wellbeing. At Inspired Villages we are committed to helping people enjoy the best years of their lives with us, whether as a resident or an employee, and believe this new space will help us with delivering on that pledge.”
