Major student accommodation plans revealed for D&G offices
The Domestic & General (D&G) offices on Talbot Street in Nottingham could be turned into an 10-storey major student scheme.
McLaren Property (Nottingham) has revealed plans to demolish the current Chaddesden House and replace it with a 318-bed student accommodation development designed by Leonard Design Architects.
The building would also back onto Wollaton Street.
A planning statement reads: “This is a well considered development which not only will create a more uniform street elevation along both Talbot Street and Wollaton Street, but will contribute a new piece of high quality architecture to this area of the city centre.”
D&G will move out of the offices in late 2022 into new premises on Station Street.
