The Access Group's HQ in Loughborough

Business technology specialist The Access Group, which has a major base in Loughborough, has begun work to create more than 500 jobs in the East Midlands.

The target was launched at the opening of Access’ £20m headquarters in Loughborough back in November. Now, 75 openings across around 50 different roles have been confirmed, with the recruitment process getting underway at two special events taking place in Loughborough on 24 February.

Roles are available across The Access Group, which provides cloud-based business software to more than 55,000 mid-sized organisations, working across a range of sectors including health and social care, education and not-for-profit. Advertised positions include roles across sales, marketing, development, support and customer success.

Claire Scott, chief people officer at The Access Group, said: “We’re excited about increasing our team and bringing more career opportunities for people in the East Midlands.

“Whether you’re experienced in your chosen field, looking to make a career change or just starting out into the world of work, Access is always on the lookout for talented people who want to make a difference, love what they do and have fun.”

“The Jobs Fair will be the first major event at our new headquarters in 2022 and we look forward to showing you what we have on offer at Access and giving you a sense of what it would be like to work with us.”

The Access Group has a total workforce of almost 5,000 people, of which 600 are based in The Armstrong Building in Loughborough. More than 100 graduates and apprentices have also joined and there are plans to recruit at least another 110 over the next six months.
