Silverstone-based speed services firm collapses into administration

A Northamptonshire company that provides “speed services” for drivers including exclusive track days at Silverstone Park has collapsed into administration.
Carrie James and James Hopkirk of Kreston Reeves were appointed administrators of Valluga Group Limited – trading as The Valluga Concierge – on 25 October.
The Valluga Concierge describes itself on social media as “a UK based concierge service supplying a bespoke experience to drivers on both road and track.”
It provides driver coaching, tours and “full car care” at its 8,275 sq ft base adjacent to the Silverstone circuit.
Cars owned by the company include a Mercedes C190 GT3, a Porsche 982 CS and a BMW M4.
A spokesperson for Kreston Reeves told TheBusinessDesk.com the administrators are currently reviewing the stricken company’s affairs before publishing their proposals in mid-December 2022.
Yesterday (31 October), Ben Sharpe, a race car technician at Ben Sharpe Racing, said he and “several” friends and colleagues were owed “large amounts of money” by the company.
Sharpe said he felt compelled to post the remarks on Valluga’s Facebook page because he was “not getting any responses from the company or even an apology.”
The Valluga Concierge turned over £2.65m last year and generated profits of around £215,000.
As we went to press it was unclear what caused the company to collapse.
The administrators have instructed Hilco Valuation Services to sell the firm, with expressions of interest due no later than 10am on Thursday 10 November 2022.
