Mystery firm secures warehouse letting at Griffen Park

Griffen, the investor, developer and assets manager, has let of 128,048 sq ft unit at Griffen park, the logistics park situated in Desford, Leicestershire.

The building will be used as the parts distribution centre for an unnamed global manufacturer.

This property marks the first delivery through the Griffen’s in house development platform. The development plan also includes a 103,000 sq ft unit.

The masterplan includes planning permission for two further units, ranging from 170,000 sqf to 510,000 sq ft.

Chief investment officer and the Griffen, Bruce Bailey said: “our high conviction in state-of-the-art, sustainable warehouse product that is suitable for a diverse range of tenants, borne out over a number of years of investing and developing in the sector, has been validated by this major letting of a speculative unit and headline rent achieved.”
