Nottingham Hot Property returns for 2023

The biggest charity event in Nottingham is back, with Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) bringing together the city’s property and construction industry in a quality live gig to work alongside and raise funds for Television Workshop.
Since it was established in 2004, Hot Property sees more than 100 people take to the stage and has now raised in excess of £343,000 for local children’s charities, helping to create a positive change to many youngsters’ lives.
Set to be held on Thursday 2 November at PRYZM, the theme for 2023 is ‘The Day of the Dead” in honour of the Mexican holiday which falls on the same date.
Emma Atkins, Hot Property trustee and business development and marketing manager at headline sponsor Pulse Consult, said: “Hot Property seems to come around quicker every year, and we can’t wait to share the amazing acts that have come together to support the amazing work of Television Workshop.
“We’ve wanted to have The Day of the Dead as a theme for several years now, and it seemed particularly fitting for this edition as the 2023 holiday falls on the same day as the event. Expect the colours, costumes and pageantry of ‘El día de los Muertos’, all in front of a packed house at PRZYM.”
The Television Workshop is a BAFTA award-winning drama group and TV casting resource with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, looking for the individuality of each student. Founded in 1983 and a registered charity since 2012, the group trains young people between the ages of seven and 21 in all aspects of performance for television, radio, film and stage.
Over the years, TV Workshop has produced a number of stars over the years, including the likes of Samantha Morton, Jack O’Connell, Karl Collins, Bella Ramsey and Alison Hammond. Operating on a talent-first basis, the group keeps its fees low and offers bursary places to those kids that are unable to meet the fees to ensure no one is turned away.
Alison Rashley, executive artistic director at The Television Workshop said: “We are so grateful to the board at Hot Property for choosing to support our charity this year, which also happens to be our 40th anniversary making it particularly poignant.
“The work we do at TV Workshop is only made possible by the generosity of funders, and every penny goes such a long way in giving our young people the chance to dream big and access high quality training.”
The sponsors for this year’s event include Pagabo and Pulse Consult as headline sponsors as well as Pick Everard, Shakespeare Martineau, Overbury, CPMG, Samclo Construction, Pick Everard, Inspired Villages, Selcon, Chord Consult and Faithful+Gould. Joining these are: PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency RizkMcCayTribe, and the event’s media partner The Business Desk.
