Gleeds makes city centre move

Property and construction consultancy giant Gleeds has moved its Nottingham office into the city centre.
The firm has taken 11,000 sq ft at Bildurn’s 11 Station Street scheme, and joins Domestic & General in the building.
Regional director, Matt Darby, told TheBusinessDesk.com: “A great deal of consultation and consideration has gone into making 11 Station Street a flexible working area that offers colleagues a business environment that goes beyond the traditional office.
“Our old space didn’t stimulate team collaboration and flexible working practices which are now so vital post pandemic. Whereas our new location at Station Street introduces multiple breakout zones, a business lounge and other stylish but functional areas, all with the aim of promoting collaborative team interaction.
“The move to Nottingham city centre reinforces Gleeds’ desire to support both our city partners and local communities. We look forward to welcoming employees’ clients and supply chain stakeholders in the coming weeks and months.”
The fit-out of the office was completed by Blueprint Interiors. Andy Sawyer, project director at the firm, said: “We are thrilled to have partnered with Gleeds on this project. We were able to ensure that every aspect contributed to realising Gleeds’ vision for this iconic development, encapsulating the company’s brand identity, workplace cultural development and values within all aspects of the consultation, design and delivery process.”
