The third phase of Trent Basin has reached completion, and new homes are now ready for occupancy.

Located on the north bank of the River Trent, just one mile from the city centre, Trent Basin is a new housing development led by Blueprint, with construction for the third phase undertaken by Lindum Group.

While the majority of homes in this phase have already been sold off-plan, a limited number are still available for purchase through the agents at William H Brown.

This residential development has played a crucial role in revitalising 250 acres of brownfield land, making it one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration projects of its kind.

With more than 100 homes now completed within the development, the next phase, compromising another 100 homes, received planning consent earlier this year and construction aims to start in 2024.

This upcoming phase will feature a new park and allocate space for a mobility hub, funded by Nottingham City Council through a successful grant application to the Transforming Cities initiative.

Trent Basin also includes Flo Skatepark and Makers Yard, which occupies a 9,000 sq ft building, offering art, live events, exhibitions, street food vendors, and independent markets.

Lindum construction manager, Tom Damarell said: “Trent Basin is a really important regeneration scheme for the East Midlands and as a regional contractor, we are really pleased to be involved in getting it over the finish line. Once complete, it will provide much-needed homes in a popular part of Nottingham.”
