Health and social care provider in 23,000 sq ft office deal

Care Plus Group, a health and social care provider in North East Lincolnshire, has acquired new headquarters in Grimsby.
The organisation has bought Westgate Park, a three-story, 23,000 sq ft property, in a deal exceeding £1m from London and Scottish Property Asset Management.
This move will enable the organisation to consolidate some of its services, as it currently operates from 16 different locations in the borough with an 850-member team.
Currently, its base is at the Val Waterhouse Centre in Kent Street, Grimsby, where Care Plus Group has been operating for 12 years.
Accessed through GP or healthcare professional referral, with some self-referral, Care Plus Group is an employee-owned community, regulated by the Care Quality Commission and contracted by North East Lincolnshire Council, North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group, the Home Office and the Department of Health.
Built-in 2008 by developer Belgrave Land, Westgate Park initially had social housing provider Shoreline as its first tenant.
However, their lease expired this year, leading LHP to relocate to a unit within Cartergate House, primarily occupied by Wilkin Chapman.
After LHP chose not to renew its lease, negotiations with potential tenants were initiated and London and Scottish Property Asset Management decided to pursue a sales process.
