Cubo’s momentum continues with launch of second Nottingham workspace

Office supplier Cubo has launched its second workspace in Nottingham, with over half of the available space already pre-let.

In April the company acquired Standard Court, formally the Nottingham General Hospital headquarters.

Over the past six months, they have completed a renovation of the building, including upgrading the existing offices.

As the largest building in the Cubo portfolio, it provides 50,000 sq ft of office space spanning four floors, accommodating 630 desks and also featuring outdoor communal areas.

In the upcoming year, a wellness centre with a gym and spa is set to open on the premises.

Several businesses, such as digital marketing agency Adtrak and property services company JLL, have already chosen Standard Court as their workspace.

Cubo is in the midst of ambitious expansion plans recently opening a new site in Manchester, a second site in Birmingham, and is preparing for the launch of Cubo in Newcastle on November 1st.

Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo, said: “Refurbishment work at Standard Court has been underway for a number of months and the new workspace looks absolutely incredible. It is the most impressive office building in Nottingham, and I am not surprised that more than 50% of the space has already been pre-let. Businesses and entrepreneurs are moving to Standard Court because of its unbeatable location, local amenities and the sheer quality of the space. It is a place with a real presence on the city’s skyline.”
