Work starts on £61m Nottinghamshire housing scheme

How the scheme will look

Nottingham-based housebuilder Avant Homes East Midlands has started work on a £61m, 102-home multi-tenure development in Radcliffe-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire.

Called Hackett Grange and located off Nottingham Road, the 13-acre development will comprise a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.

Of the 102 homes, 30% have been designated to affordable housing. Avant Homes has also committed to a Section 106 contribution of £950,000 to support education and local services and a sustainable travel plan.

Avant Homes East Midlands says it will release the first homes for sale at Hackett Grange in spring and that the first residents will move in during October. A four-bedroom Horbury showhome is scheduled to open in September.

Avant Homes East Midlands managing director, Ben Felton, said: “As a housebuilder, we want to provide quality new homes for everyone and Hackett Park will be a great demonstration of us delivering on that promise.

“We are now well underway building a range of multi-tenure homes that are ideal for all types of buyers, whether first time, second steppers, families or downsizers, and are busily creating a new community within Radcliffe-on-Trent.

“In all cases, we want to make people’s next home moving step a reality so we look forward to releasing our first homes for sale at Hackett Grange in the spring.”
